Today i found a great mistake i did with my blog. When i tried to access by site by typing technicate.in in my browser, i got a 404 error saying page not found. Then i tried www.technicate.in and everything went fine. I forgot to redirect technicate.in to www.technicate.in. By this simple mistake i might have lost lot's of traffic to my blog. Obviously this problem will come only if you are using custom domain in blogger. So make sure that you have redirected your non www domain to www domain. Let see how to do this in blogger.
- Goto Settings-Basic
- Under Publishing tab-Blog address, Click Edit
- Tick Redirect .yourdomain to www.yourdomain

Check whether you have done this or not . A single tick can affect your blog severely :-)
Please note : If you are using a sub domain for your blog. Giving this redirect will send traffic from your main domain to sub domain. Please be careful with sub domains. Read the option before applying this.
