Lenovo is great in terms of brandability because of its well performing laptops. But it seemed to be away from mobile phone market after flop show of its impressive but a little bit reception muted range of phones launched last year. After six months, Lenovo seems to be back in action with a series of smartphones made especially for Indian customers. The range is supposed to be not only user friendly but pocket friendly as well. In this series of six smartphones, we bring to your attention the one which got our special focus, the Lenovo K900. To find out what Lenovo got for its users in its new device read further:
1. High resolution display
Lenovo engineers have added an extra effect of swiveling barrel effect which appears when you swipe from one page of apps to another. The company has tried to give the UI a funky look by making all the icons sort of cartoony in order to break the monotonous looks of traditional icons. When the thing comes to taking pictures, Lenovo K900 is all set to impress its users with its 13 MPrear camera. The company has loaded the camera with the new Sony Exmor BSI sensor. The rear camera has also been equipped with f1.8 focal length lens, which is the wide aperture on any smartphone till date. Lenovo has also widened the 2 MP front camera to an 880 angle of viewing which is again widest on a smartphone’s front camera.
6. Large storage
The only point of concern is the lack of a microSD card slot but that too has been covered by keeping internal storage capped at 16GB with USB-on-the-go an option, so as to give users ample wide space to keep files safe.
7. Longer battery back up
To ensure unlimited entertainment to its users Lenovo powered the device with 2500mAh Li-ion battery. After being fully charged and Wi-Fi on and regular usage for two days, the battery drains only by 50 per cent.
8. Latest OS
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is the choice of Lenovo for the new device so as it could be supported by the 2GHz processor up to full extent. We also expect the device to get a couple of upgrades in near future.
9. Slim and Stylish
Lenovo K900 is supposed to be the best choice for people looking for stylish classy phones that can be kept in pocket and are lovely art pieces they will love to flaunt.The spun-metal finish on the aluminium back with exposed screws forces to turn the phone over and over again (despite the stunning display). Lenovo K900 is an extremely slim handset with a depth of 6.9 mm and the edges also have the same brushed aluminium finish.
10. Value for money
The affordable price tag is worth for trendy, stylish, slim and latest Lenovo K900. No phone in this range sports the features Lenovo K900 sports at present. It would not be wrong to say that a smartphone which is fully HD and is powered by Intel core processor is worth buying for the price tag it carries.
With a powerful set of specifications and an affordable price tag, Lenovo K900 is supposed give a tough competition to the flagships like Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC Butterfly etc. As it is already loaded with latest OS and packs enough power to support some upcoming versions of the Android, it can safely be touted as a future proof device.
