The next game in the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed franchise has been confirmed by Ubisoft. The new game will feature a new hero and a new time period.The game will be released during April 2014. Ubisoft didn't reveal anything about the studio which is going to develop the latest game in the franchise.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said "all-new Assassin's Creed hero,within an all new team and time period will be another major leap forward for the franchise". "It is the benefit of multiple teams working on multiple chapters of the product, each getting several years to make their versions of an Assassin's Creed game",he further added.
Assassins Creed III released last October was a massive hit with more than 12 million sales all over the world.The game featured the franchise's most expansive setting along with a new hero and more game play The next chapter in Assassin's Creed III, The Tyranny of King Washington, releases on February 19.
