There are so many articles in the web about creating slide shows for blog or websites. But how to create an image gallery like this [ See a Demo ] for your blog or website? Today I am going to tell u how to do this with blogger.You can extend this on other platforms also.This gallery can be added inside your blog post or as a widget in your sidebars or where ever it is.You don't need to add any scripts or do any edits in your template. Its really easy and will take only a less than a minute. So lets see how to do this.
- Upload your images under an album in Picasa or Flicker. Make the visibility settings for the album to public.
- Goto www.quickgallery.com.
- Click on Build your gallery.
- Select the album. Here you have several options for sign in like Facebook, Picasa, Flicker, Instagram etc.You can see help tips on each option. I recommend Flicker and Picasa since these option doesn't require any sign ups. Note :The privacy settings for the album you are using should be public. Otherwise you may not be able to go to the next step.
- Select a design for your gallery. Now Click next.
- Now you can customize your gallery. You will see several options like size, theme , color etc..You can also switch to advanced tab and do more customization there. Once you are done register a new account in open gallery. Don't worry it's completely free :-)
- Complete the registration procedure and log in to your account. Under My Galley tab, select the gallery and get the code to embed it in your blog.
Add Gallery Inside Blogger Post
- Login to your Blogger account.
- Open the post where you want to add the gallery or create a new post if u want it so.
- Go to HTML view and paste the code.
- Now publish the post and your are done !
Add Gallery as Widget
- Login to your Blogger account.
- Goto Layout and click Add a gadget
- In the window that opened, select HTML/Javascript
- Now copy and paste the below code in the HTML/Javascript window. Save the widget.
