Smartphones are the hottest gadgets in the present scenario among the tech friendly users worldwide.Lots of mobile phone manufacturers have tried and won the heart of the next generation smartphone buyers with amazing devices but some of them are still lagging behind and Nokia can be considered one of them. Design & Build Quality
Samsung Galaxy S4 is designed with plastic materials and it kind of looks like a cheap device comparing to the price range it shares. However, its overall body design is quite slimmer and fits perfectly in the hand of the user. On the other hand Nokia 808 PureView is no slim smartphone because its body weight and design is a little bulky compared to Samsung Galaxy S4. However, it also fits perfectly in user’s hand and looks attractive with its stylishly carved buttons and good looking back panel with a massive 41MP camera. Both of these smartphones look quite nice and impress different buyers in the market.
Display
Samsung Galaxy S4 is the prominent member of the 1080p display devices in year 2013. It comes with a 5inch Super AMOLED screen with pixel density of 441ppi. Its display provides better visibility under the direct sunlight. On the other hand Nokia 808 PureView comes with a little smaller 4inch display with 360*640pixels resolution. Pixel density of the display in PureView is lower than many smartphones in the market but still it shines a lot. Overall, Samsung Galaxy S4 provides better colors than the Nokia 808 PureView in the display segment.
Operating System & Interface
Samsung Galaxy S4 is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and company has enhanced the software interface experience on the phone using its own custom UI. While, Nokia 808 PureView is powered by nearly ending Symbian operating system. Nokia has used Symbian Belle Feature Pack 1 in the phone and it comes with customizable home screen interface. Samsung Galaxy S4 is surely having advantage of thousands of apps available on the Google Play Store for Android OS comparing to just a few apps available for the Symbian platform.
Camera
Nokia beats Samsung in the camera segment with Nokia 808 PureView’s whopping 41 mega pixel camera compared to only 13MP camera present in Samsung Galaxy S4. Camera in the Nokia 808 PureView captures images by using ‘Pixel Oversampling’ technology that collects more lights in the photos with 8million pixels by default. While, Samsung Galaxy S4 captures average looking photos in the low light areas. Nokia 808 PureView is the sure winner in the camera segment of this comparison.
Verdict
Samsung Galaxy S4 is no doubt one of the best Android smartphones available on the planet at the moment but Nokia 808 PureView is an old rocker from the Finnish manufacturer that still rules among photography lovers. However, Nokia 808 PureView might not impress a heavy smartphone user because lack of applications for its Symbian platform. Overall, if you are looking for latest smartphone experience and can compromise on the camera side, consider Samsung Galaxy S4 as you first choice.

Lenovo engineers have added an extra effect of swiveling barrel effect which appears when you swipe from one page of apps to another. When the thing comes to taking pictures, Lenovo K900 is all set to impress its users with its 13 MPrear camera. The company has loaded the camera with the new Sony Exmor BSI sensor. The rear camera has also been equipped with f1.8 focal length lens, which is the wide aperture on any smartphone till date. Lenovo has also widened the 2 MP front camera to an 880 angle of viewing which is again widest on a smartphone’s front camera.
6. Large storage
The only point of concern is the lack of a microSD card slot but that too has been covered by keeping internal storage capped at 16GB with USB-on-the-go an option, so as to give users ample wide space to keep files safe.
7. Longer battery back up
To ensure unlimited entertainment to its users Lenovo powered the device with 2500mAh Li-ion battery. After being fully charged and Wi-Fi on and regular usage for two days, the battery drains only by 50 per cent.
8. Latest OS
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is the choice of Lenovo for the new device so as it could be supported by the 2GHz processor up to full extent. We also expect the device to get a couple of upgrades in near future.
9. Slim and Stylish
Lenovo K900 is supposed to be the best choice for people looking for stylish classy phones that can be kept in pocket and are lovely art pieces they will love to flaunt.The spun-metal finish on the aluminium back with exposed screws forces to turn the phone over and over again (despite the stunning display). Lenovo K900 is an extremely slim handset with a depth of 6.9 mm and the edges also have the same brushed aluminium finish.
10. Value for money
The affordable price tag is worth for trendy, stylish, slim and latest Lenovo K900. No phone in this range sports the features Lenovo K900 sports at present. It would not be wrong to say that a smartphone which is fully HD and is powered by Intel core processor is worth buying for the price tag it carries.
With a powerful set of specifications and an affordable price tag, Lenovo K900 is supposed give a tough competition to the flagships like Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC Butterfly etc. As it is already loaded with latest OS and packs enough power to support some upcoming versions of the Android, it can safely be touted as a future proof device. Yes we will say its Processor,RAM ,Camera quality ,sound quality ,Connectivity Options ,Expandable memory ,battery backup etc. We missed one important feature, the Internal Memory ! Most of us won't give much importance to Internal memory specification. But in my opinion it is an important criteria we should take care while purchasing a new phone.
One major reason for buying android Phone's is the vast availability of apps. But if your phone's internal memory is low it will limit the amount of apps you will be able to install on your phone. Even though some of them can be installed in memory card , a small part of every app will reside in the internal memory of the phone.This will create trouble since the apps are getting bigger and bigger every day. Even the basic apps like YouTube Gmail or Maps receive massive upgrades periodically that takes memory.If you are buying high-end phones, you may not have to worry about this since they comes with enough memory. But don't forget to consider internal memory while you go for low end android device, other wise you will miss the real benefit of the android Phones.
